A little spooky funfetti dip to serve this weekend amidst the Halloween festivities!
FIVE days until Halloween! I can't believe it either! October has been jetting by, and there's absolutely no stopping it now. We love festive snacks and foods around our house, Halloween being no exception. So I wanted to share a little spooky idea inspired by one of my friend's recipe.
Toward the end of August we closed out summer with an evening at the lake with our family friends. Included in our menu was this homemade funfetti dip that was a hit with the kids and adults. I thought it would be simple enough to switch up the box cake mix to make way for festive sprinkles instead of the traditional rainbow variety. And it worked like a charm! Thanks to Jenna for the original recipe, and here's my slight tweak so you can make it for any holiday!
- What You'll Need
- Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake Mix
- 1 32 oz tub Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 8 ox tub Cool Whip Original
- Festive Sprinkles
- Dippers
- Graham Crackers
- Teddy Grahams
- Pretzels might be good too - a little salty and sweet!
- What You'll Do
- Pour the entire dry cake mix into a bowl.
- Add half the tub of plain Greek yogurt and half the tub of whip cream. Mix until well combined. Taste test to determine if you need more yogurt or cool whip. Add a little at a time to reach the right consistency as well.
- Now add the sprinkles, and gently fold them in.
- Serve the dip in a bowl and top with a bit more sprinkles! Put an assortment of dippers around the bowl for scooping!
