A Halloween charcuterie board for spooky s'mores to enjoy with family and friends!
Good morning and a happy Monday! Over the weekend, we did all the festive things, including this spooky s'more-gasbord. Pete built a roaring fire, we put on Hocus Pocus, and jumped into our comfy clothes for a Saturday night in with our little ghouls.
We love making the ordinary, more festive and magical when we can. So why not take s'mores to the next level and lay out on the ingredients on a faux cobweb covered cutting board?! Makes total sense to me, so I whipped the board together, and we devoured it fireside in our family room. Added bonus if you have twinkle lights glowing!
- What You'll Need:
- Dove chocolate
- milk chocolate (I used a bar and broke it up)
- caramel-filled
- Hershey chocolate
- Thin Reese's Cups
- Ghost Marshmallows
- Raspberries
- Blackberries
- Graham crackers
- Faux spider web
- Plastic black spiders
- Food coloring pen
You could really use anything to create your s'mores, but we loved these picks! My favorite was toasted marshmallow + Dove Chocolate + raspberries. And Pete loved using a Reese's cup with both berries and a toasted marshmallow! He loved the thin version of a Reese's cup - he said it was just the right amount of peanut butter taste without being too much.
Now the most important part....how do you like your marshmallow toasted?? I only believe in a lightly toasted, just-browned marshmallow. There's just no other way!
pssst....use the food pens to give your ghosts all kinds of different faces!
