I thought I would take it back to the start of the month as we prepare to close out the end of the month. So wild to me that July is almost over!
It doesn't matter what holiday is happening, the Hills are all about celebrating it the best we know how. Even with a year that is wildly different than any I've ever experienced, I feel it's so important to still find joy in traditions, even if they have to be tweaked. So we put on our red, white, and blue; threw the slip and slide up; and made a patriotic charcuterie board to celebrate America's birthday.
Our day was low key, and as simple as simple can be. But, we had fun and we had sparklers! The girls loved the festive feelings and Wells hung with the best of them until bedtime, and then he was out. A long day and summer heat will do that to you!
