The Hill babies are still snoozing, and thanks to pregnancy insomnia, I'm finding the time to put together my favorite photos from our maternity shoot while this little guy is enjoying his morning stretches in my belly. Luckily, we were able to get these photos at the very beginning of March before the necessity to quarantine, and I'm so glad we did. I love having these sweet moments captured to forever remember a season of life on the cusp of changing. As we prepare to go from a family of four to five in a matter of weeks, I love knowing that we've saved a little piece of time to look back on later. If you're ever on the fence about maternity photos, don't hesitate, book that photographer and make it happen!
Looking through these photos over and over again, several feelings well up in me. I can't believe:
1. I'm at this point in pregnancy already (it went fast!)
2. We're about to welcome a baby boy
3. My girls are so big (where does the time go?).
4. I'm the luckiest to share this life with Pete.
Goodness knows, we are eagerly awaiting his arrival and can't wait to see and kiss his little face. As crazy as this time is, and as unknown and scary as it can feel, knowing this precious life is about to be earthside is such a bright spot. We are praying for a healthy house + family to bring him home to; an uncomplicated delivery + short hospital stay; and a very healthy and strong baby boy to cuddle up with. His birthday will be here before we know it! Meet you so soon, little one.
A huge thank you to Chelsea Hartman Photography for giving me these treasures!
