Happy Friday, friends!! Our windows are wide open and it's currently 60° out this morning. It's like a dream! And it has me itching to decorate for fall. Yes, you read that right, I'm already envisioning my home decked out in pumpkins. And truth be told, about the second week of August it will be. I love extending my fall décor, especially since I switch up the décor to Halloween touches come October. I'm most excited to decorate this year because our house is undergoing a bit of a facelift as we take down walls. So it will be like decorating a whole new home!
In other thoughts, how is this the last weekend in July?! I feel like this month has gone the fastest of any month this year. Summer will be over before I know it, but not before we head off to the beach and to the orchard for peach picking. Then I'll be ready to wave farewell to summertime.

- My only Nordstrom sale purchase was this sweater. It arrived yesterday, and I'm in love with the crop and the colors. it's perfectly fall and perfectly me. I can't wait to wear it!
- Last Friday we obtained approval for taking down a major wall in our house, and we couldn't be more excited!! Check out our current progress.
- Our neighbor's tree is dropping red leaves (see the first photo), and it is bringing Greer and I such joy!
- Last Saturday Pete headed out super early to a local yard sale that we had seen advertised the night before. There were some quality items we thought would be great to grab. What we didn't expect was to be the new owners of a large outdoor sectional in like-new condition for only $5!!! It didn't come with cushions (at that price who cares!), so I ordered these to fit the dimensions; they're set to arrive today and I can't wait to sit on our patio tonight!!
- I'm looking forward to trying out a new recipe for pumpkin oatmeal cookies this weekend, and maybe even sneaking in "You've Got Mail" for a lazy Sunday afternoon treat. Who else loves that movie??
