I said it last week, once July 4th has come and gone, I clock out of summer and let the excitement of fall take over. If you've been here for awhile, you know I would gladly live in a perpetual fall. There's nothing I don't love about it. In the meantime I'm living out the rest of summer, and trying to make the most of it (go away, hot weather!).
We've been knee-deep in house projects. Who would guess those took so long, especially when you've got a toddler to keep away from all the tools and still entertained? We've only hit the pool once and we need to get back before the summer is all but gone. We have quite the water baby on our hands. Our festive fourth included a trip downtown for a small fair and sparklers. The Hill house keeps getting rearranged (anyone else love moving furniture around as much as I do?). We're eating the light and stuffed-vegetables life over here. The peach orchard is starting to wonder just how many times we'll visit this summer. We've been on countless Target runs mostly because we can't say away. And we're on the countdown to our beach vacation next month (I need a tan in a bad way!), and hoping baby girl still fits in her swimsuits by then. She's growing like a weed (I kid you not) and has grown 5 inches since September (98th percentile all the way). And once we're back from our week-long beach life, I'll be pulling out the pumpkins! Don't tell me I'm the only one :)

What is on your bucket list for the rest of summer? I could use all the inspiration! Hope your July has been full of summery fun! xo
