Happy Friday + A Round-Up

Happy Friday, friends! I'm so thankful that the weekend is almost here. You too?? We've got projects on board for our weekend to-dos, and though it's work, I love a good project! Hopes are high that we get Greer's nursery completed, and can jump to our next room reno. We shall see.

So, I have to admit that as soon as the 4th of July passes, I'm ready for cool temperatures, sweaters and slouchy pullovers, falling crimson leaves, crackling fires, and pumpkins. Have you noticed that the tips of some leaves are starting to make that lovely transition to bold crimsons and bright ambers. Maybe it's just me, but there are some leaves in my neighborhood that are changing, and it makes my heart swell. While some of you are totally rolling your eyes at me, I'm over here counting down the days to September 1st. Just give me fall, already! 

Speaking of fall....

1. With all of the prepping I've been doing for the fall release of Twine & Cotton candles and tarts (yes, tarts!) my whole house smells like the loveliest autumn day. We'll be releasing the candles (5 new scents and 7 returning scents) for preorders come August. And there will be a promotion running with the preorders, so keep your eyes open for the announcement and preorder date!
2. From the sweaters and booties to the scarves and ponchos, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale gets me even more excited for fall. I'm sharing some of favorites and must-haves for the upcoming season! What are your must-buys from the sale?

And, while I'm on the topic of Nordstrom, I ordered this pullover and was so excited to get it in the mail. It arrived, I pulled it out, put it on, and it was like a crop-top sweatshirt on my 5'8" frame. Um, no thanks. So back it went. But, I was super bummed about it, until I found this pullover. And it is a gem! I have been wearing it around the house non-stop, and I'm looking forward to sporting it out and about on those chilly fall days ahead. Grab it now, because it's on sale!
