Happy Friday, friends! Who can believe that not only is it another Friday, but it's the first one of February?! I tell you, time is a thief, so we best enjoy as much of it as we can!
Thank you all for all of your input about a new commenting forum! I still haven't done any more research on it (#momlife), but that's on my goal list for next week! Speaking of lists, my to-do's are just not getting done lately. Greer has been changing SO much this week and her preferences are different from what they were just days ago. Needless to say, my girl comes first, so all those chores and activities have taken a back seat. That blog post on how we picked her name is still sitting, half-way written, in my drafts folder. Look for it next week. I'm hopeful to have it completed then! Now on to my thoughts....

T H I N K I N G > I am so very ready for spring. The warmer weather, the budding trees, green grass, chirping birds. Yes, all things spring are definitely at the top of my want list. I can't wait to get out for stroller walks and whatnot with my girl. Just being able to go outside without bundling up is going to be perfection.
P O N D E R I N G > What we do about our couches. I've had them since I was a junior in college, and they are coming apart. They have served us well, but it's time for replacements. Last week I mentioned I slipcovers. That was a big ole' fail. Now we're trying to decide if we purchase new couches and from where. Since we're not in a permanent home, we don't want to get our dream couches just yet. But, we do want nice, solid, cost-friendly couches. Any suggestions?? We're thinking IKEA...good or bad??
N E E D I N G > A KitchenAid mixer. But that'll have to wait until I have several hundred extra dollars hanging around ;)
L I S T E N I N G > To the baby monitor. Not a peep from my girl, she's sleeping soundly (praise Jesus!).
S W O O N I N G > Over the pink tulips that I got yesterday! Fresh flowers are so my love language, and I'd have them all of the time, in all rooms of my house if I could! I'm also swooning over our newborn photos that we got on Monday!
