Thoughts For Friday + The Pick: Week 50

Cheers to the weekend! Our last weekend as a family of two! Come Monday, we'll be a family of three and it's still blowing my mind!! Last night we went on our epic final date before baby. It started off with dinner, a little shopping, and then an early premiering of the new Star Wars movie. Truth be told, I've never seen the other Star Wars movies and I wouldn't count myself a fan. But, when I had the opportunity to buy tickets for the early showing with cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres I couldn't pass it up. Only because my husband is a Star Wars fan and surprising him is always fun to do!

Don't worry, no spoilers here, but the movie was great. And that's coming from someone who wouldn't have picked to go see it. Husband thought it was stellar as well. So besides all things baby being on my mind, here are my thoughts for the week!

T H I N K I N G  > That I'm so glad I was able to sneak in a pedicure and manicure with my sister this week. My nails needed it and I needed the relaxation.

P O N D E R I N G > How our last weekend will go with just the two of us. 

N E E D I N G > To soak up how life feels right now. What it feels like to be just husband and me. Because it's going to be different (in the best way!) after baby girl joins us.

L I S T E N I N G > To this! It's an every Christmas season favorite of mine!

D R E A M I N G > Of bringing baby girl home on Christmas Eve :)

S W O O N I N G > Over the fact that Christmas Day is just ONE week away!! Can you even believe it?!

I'd say I would see you back here on Monday, but I've got a baby to deliver!
