What's not to love?! I've got my fall décor up, my home is cozy and smelling like pumpkin apple goodness, I've baked twice in 4 days this week, and it's a 3 day weekend!! Life feels good right about now, don't you agree? Tell me, what do you Labor Day weekend plans look like??
....and before we jump into the rest of the post, I have a question for you all. Do you receive emails when I reply to your comments?? I can't figure out if my comment section is functioning correctly, and I want you all to be updated when I respond to you, answering a question or just chit-chatting back with you. I love interacting with my readers, but I'm worried that you all don't know I'm over here responding. Help a blogger out and let me know!
T H I N K I N G > About our weekend plans. We set nothing in stone, so it's going to be a play-it-by-ear kind of three days and I'm excited for the possibilities! Also, I'm amazed that we're already four days in September!
P O N D E R I N G > If husband and I will double date with the other 'burg Hills to the free Brad Paisley concert going on in town Sunday night. Thanks, Hokie football! We can't decide if it would be worth going, but you never know!
N E E D I N G > 7-11 slurpees every single day. No kidding, I am craving them like crazy lately. It's the perfect texture and sweet goodness.
L I S T E N I N G > To the sounds of JV and varsity football games being played. The high school stadium is just over the hill from our house, so when it's game night, the stadium lights are visible above the pine trees, the announcer is echoing through our neighborhood, and the fans are roaring. I kind of like it, truth be told.
D R E A M I N G > About the finishing touches to baby girl's nursery. Things are coming together so well right now, and I'm looking forward to adding the little details!
S W O O N I N G > Over Bath & Body Works' Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte body cream. I fell hard for it last year (like I bought 4 at the end of the season to last me all year). And although they've switched the name up and the look of the bottle, it's still the amazing smelling cream that it was this time a year ago. If you haven't tried it, you must. Truly! It doesn't have an overpowering pumpkin smell, but it still exudes fall.
Last but not least, join Rachel and I for an Autumn Scarf Swap!! Because what celebrates fall like cozy scarves?! We thought it would be a lot of fun to send scarves to one another in the spirit of a new season when the temperatures are chilly, a Starbucks PSL is in you hands, and the leaves are bursting in color.
Sign-ups start now and will go until September 15. Send either Rachel or I an email committing yourself to send a scarf to another blogger. You'll need to include your mailing address and blog URL. By September 21 you will have received the gal you'll be sending a scarf to. Please have the scarf in the mail no later than September 28.
We want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone, so if you sign up please be sure to mark your calendar to make sure a scarf is on its way to your blogger by the 28th of September. Scarves should range between $12-$15 in price. We'll all share our scarf exchanges the following week in a blog post on October 7!
