The Pick: Week 10 + Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, all! This week has been full of happy moments, in-between moments, and down right hard moments. I'm still figuring out how to get back to my normal, and I have a good feeling that it's going to be a process. I'm still feeling so loved by our community, our people. Dinners are still being offered, deliveries are still making their way to our door, and messages are still be sent. I really don't know what I'd do without all the support; it's been incredible. 

While this week hasn't been my favorite, I do have some favorite moments that have made all the difference. So without further ado...

[one] Daylight Savings has been welcomed in our home with open arms. While I really don't like losing an hour of sleep, I'm ever so thrilled for more sunshine and longer days. Can you believe I took this photo after 6:00 in the evening and there is still natural light streaming through my windows?!

[two] I'm obsessed with accent pillows (to husband's dismay). They are everywhere in my home. This week I'm partnering with Motif Pillows to bring you the chance to win a beautiful pillow cover of your choosing! The two pictured above are the covers they sent me, and I am crazy about them! [three] Not only are longer days happening, but the daily temperatures are rising! And that means the windows in the Hill house are opening. We've been enjoying fresh air through the evening hours and into the night, which has been so wonderful. Come on spring, you're almost here!!

[four] I decided to add some green to our home for St. Patrick's Day this year. And I'm glad that I did. It's bringing some welcome cheer and festivity to our home this week. You can see how I decorated everything HERE. Also, I heard today that it's St. Paddy's Day, not St. Patty's Day...oops. 

[five] Again with the open windows, it's been heavenly around here. And a grande non-fat coffee frappuccino, my favorite pens, and some new knobs for our office makeover never hurt either.

[six] A surprise delivery at my doorstep on a day when I was having a rough afternoon hashing through last week. I'm always in awe at how God works. He knew I was having a hard time, and He sent someone in my direction to bring a little cheer. And the chance to send my own package of cheer to another blogger yesterday. May the cycle of sending and receiving cheer never end. 

[seven] Spring sneakers are the best for putting a little extra pep in your step. And this color comb is spot on. New Balance, you got it right. 

[eight] An impromptu dinner date with some of our favorites. With the sun shining and the temperature in the 50s, dinner on the patio at a local favorite was called for. The bonus....this college town is sleepy this week while students are away on spring break, leaving little foot traffic and no crowds downtown.

This weekend is going to be good, and I'm looking forward to all it's going to bring. It will make this heart happy. I hope you have one fabulous weekend with your favorites.
