A Gaggle of Cousins

The Hill babes jumped from two to five in a span of five months, with the girls being quickly outnumbered by the addition of three boys. All's well though, as the girls welcome the extra playmates that will one day be big enough to frolic around with them. This weekend was the first time Pete and I got in on all the cousin action as the five of them got to know each other better. We watched on as the little guys jabbered away with coos and squeals, while the girls talked a mile a minute with their energetic toddler/little girl words. Quiet time wasn't a part of the experience unless exhaustion took over and brought on a nap. Even then, there was always a little one awake and ready to interact with a bouncing game accompanied by lots of laughter. After a weekend full of littles, we relished the time we were given and are already counting down until the next visit. *Sigh*... I can only imagine what this will look like in the years to come...
