Graduation Party Preparation

Tomorrow is the BIG day! I graduate in less than 24 hours and I cannot believe that it has arrived so fast! Today has been a whirlwind of checking items off of the to-do list. This morning was a pre-op appointment (for that foot surgery), then a quick stop at my apartment to grab some last minute things, swung by the campus bookstore to get my honor sash (yay, I am graduating with honors!), and then on to my parents' house to prepare for the festivities following the graduation ceremony. My mom, sister, and I have been diligently cooking and baking in the kitchen since around two this afternoon and we've made a lot of progress, just look for yourself...

I'm glad I've had this busy time (of cooking and baking) to distract me from looking at the clock and counting down hours. Because I have been anxiously awaiting several arrivals all day...Pete gets here (haven't seen him in two weeks!) and so does Becky, Josh and their brood! In just a few hours we will all be meeting up with Cary and Amy for some family time. I can't wait to see everyone and I can't wait to eat this food tomorrow afternoon!
